WARRANTY PROCESS
 

STEP ONE
Evaluate the validity of the claim.

– Was the product purchased in the past 1 year / 3 months?

– Was the product purchased from an authorised dealer?

– Does the damage appear to be attributable to defective materials or workmanship?

– Does the damage appear to be due to abuse, negligence, or reactions to heat or strong detergents?

– For specific instructions regarding different products, please consult the guidelines.



STEP TWO
Bring the product to the store where it was purchased from OR contact your countries C-SKINS Distributor here for a return authorisation number.

– Tell us what you are sending back.

– Describe the product.

– Tell us why you are sending it back. 

– Describe the problem.

– Record the return authorisation number for future ref.



STEP THREE
Pack and ship the product immediately in a clean and dry condition.

– Include a copy of the orignal proof of purchase.

– Include a brief description of the problem and the return authorisation number.

– Make a quick sketch of the area of concern.

– Include full return address and contact details.


If you live by a C-SKINS Dealer please drop into them with your claim. The shop will contact us direct to arrange a return authorisation numbe.

Customers are responsible for shipping charges to C-SKINS. On receipt of the product your claim will be handled in one of the following ways:

– If the returned product is within the valid warranty period of one year or 3 months and judged by C-SKINS to be defective we will repair or replace the product. The warranty remains valid on repaired and replaced items for the balance of one year/3 months from the original purchase date.

– If the product is not covered under warranty nor repairable the product will be returned as it is. – If the product is not covered under warranty, but we re able to help out with a repair we will do so. At no time does C-SKINS offer a refund.
 



WETSUIT GUIDELINES


All flatlock stitched and glued and blind stitched Wetsuits will receive a 1-year warranty from date of original purchase.

THE FOLLOWING WILL NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.

– Abuse, Fin Damage and any other impact related damage.

– Fading from sunlight.

– Alterations.

– Materials over 1 year (from date of original purchase).

– Repairs or alteration done by anyone other than C-SKINS or a C-SKINS authorised repair facility.

– Damage caused by contact with chemicals (chlorine, petrol etc )

 

 



ACCESSORY GUIDELINES


All flatlock stitched and glued and blind stitched accessories will receive a 3 month warranty from date of original purchase.

THE FOLLOWING WILL NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.

– Materials over 3 month (from date of original purchase).

– Repairs or alteration done by anyone other than C-SKINS or a C-SKINS authorised repair facility.

LOVE YOUR WETTY!


Your wetsuit is a high performance piece of kit vital to the enjoyment of your sport. We recommend treating your wetsuit with care at all times. Not only will your wetsuit last longer, it will perform the way it was designed to.

– Wash your suit out after each surf with fresh water and hang out to dry out of direct sunlight on a wide coat hanger. Try not to leave it in a stinking mess in the trunk of your car.

– When you’re putting your wetsuit on and taking it off try not to over-stretch panels – we suggest pulling your suit on bit by bit and always pulling it on near the point of restriction. Dont grab the neoprene near a seam because it will break if you pull to hard!

– When taking your suit off try not to stamp and pull on it while under your feet in a sharp gravel carpark.
